Development of the Choices 5-level Criteria

As part of an internship, I collaborated in the criteria development and validation of a new nutrient profiling system aimed at complimenting double-duty actions tackling the triple burden of malnutrition. Such double-duty actions include: the application of a Front-of-pack labeling (FOPL) restricting advertising to children, reformulation, financial incentives and disincentives, school food environments, fortification, and claims.
